Offer Description

The research proposed to be carried out stems from the need to seek appropriate data governance as a consequence of reality datafication.
For a long time, the main normative reference act has been GDPR; now the framework has been enriched with numerous other normative bodies, including Data Act, Data Governance Act, proposed regulation on European Health Data Space, etc. One notes, overall, a gradual shift from the level of protection to the level of data circulation, because the importance of data reuse in the context of research (so-called secondary use) has been understood.
In such a complex regulatory framework, it is necessary to identify an appropriate and practicable governance model. The fellowship will focus on the analysis of the regulations applicable to the phenomenon; the implications of data reuse in research, with specific reference to research in the medical-scientific field; and the interactions between data reuse and AI technologies, with specific applications to the study of the silver economy.
