Offer Description
The research activity
will develop, through the selection of case studies (small Mediterranean islands, inner areas, periurban
areas), an integrated strategy to support local agriculture aiming the : i) the increase of local knowledge
of climatic and environmental risks; ii) the identification of resistant and resilient agro-biodiversity; iii) the
definition of agronomic practices for an agro-ecological management based on the introduction of
innovation while respecting traditional production systems. The definition of multifunctional agriculture
models will be carried out through pilot demonstrative interventions and stakeholder awareness-raising
with the tool of Living labs for the transmission of knowledge and appreciation of the ecosystem role of
agriculture, especially to counteract and adapt to the effects of climate change.
