Offer Description
The research is mainly concerned with: sustainability and resilience of passenger and freight transport systems. The activity involves the study, evaluation and implementation of methods and models also in accordance with national international level policies and goals. The research areas concern on the one hand the issues of decarbonization and promotion of alternative forms of mobility and on the other hand the reduction of impacts following major events that may affect transport networks. The studies concern: -management of the mobility of people and goods in urban and suburban areas; -development of electric mobility; -relationship between mobility systems and territory; -safety/vulnerability of networks; -management of emergencies in the field of transport. Participation in research projects and dissemination of research outcomes including through publication of scientific products is required.

Specific Requirements
Italian or foreign applicants, who have a PhD or equivalent qualification, obtained in Italy or abroad are admitted to selection process. In addition, in the past 5 years, they must have authored, co-authored, or edited a number of publications, accepted texts, essays included in collections, and articles published in print or digital journals equal to or exceeding the minimum required number of 15, excluding internal notes or departmental reports.
