Offer Description
Electronics, and in particular smart materials and devices, play an increasingly
important role in our daily lives. Of particular importance is the use of appropriate low-cost, low-impact technologies for non-invasive monitoring of the properties of a variety of biological systems. In this project, smart materials (e.g., synthetic polymers) and devices (such as sensors) will be interfaced with biological systems (e.g., cell cultures) to monitor and modulate their properties. Additional research activities in the context of other projects on related topics may be defined by mutual agreement between AR and supervisor. If this activity in the context of other projects is supervised in detail by a professor/researcher other than the indicated supervisor, the latter must in any case explicitly countersign the part of the report that refers to the activity on the additional projects.
