Offer Description
The research activity is aimed at the study and development of innovative interfaces for the intuitive control of multi-articulated hand prostheses. The winner will work on human-machine interfaces, invasive and not, capable of processing the signals acquired from various sensors (for example EMG, inertial, gaze tracking) to convert them into intuitive control of the prosthesis. The ideal candidate has a degree in biomedical engineering and experience in experimental data acquisition and modelling. Furthermore, the ideal candidate has excellent communication (in English and Italian) and interpersonal skills, and good programming skills in Matlab, C, C++, and Python. Finally, it will be evaluated any previous experience in conducting experimental projects, both individually and as part of a group, ideally reported in scientific publications.
