Offer Description
The rising epidemic of global obesity is a major health crisis, and it has been linked to increased risk for chronic diseases, including breast and colorectal cancers. Obesity creates a unique fat tissue environment that promotes tumor growth and progression. Fat tissue, composed of various cell types, can increase the aggressiveness of cancer cells and influence cancer stem cells, which are responsible for resistance to treatment and cancer recurrence.
