Offer Description

Inflammatory demyelinating diseases (IDD) impact the central nervous system, including multiple sclerosis
(MS), aquaporin-4 positive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders and myelin oligodendrocyte
glycoprotein-antibody associated disease. Advances in identifying autoantibodies allow for clinical
distinctions. While MRI aids MS diagnosis, differentiating IDD remains challenging. Accurate differential
diagnoses rely on targeted MRI and specific serological biomarkers due to potential therapy ineffectiveness
in antibody-mediated diseases. This study proposes an innovative diagnostic tool, integrating imaging
markers for tissue damage and repair with serum biomarkers. It employs deep learning for data integration,
automated analysis, and predicting IDD progression. The goal is unmatched sensitivity and specificity in monitoring subtle subclinical changes, thus advancing the management of IDD.
