Offer Description
The research will have to explore methods and tools for an effective and feasible management of the landscape as a historical heritage, in continuous and inevitable transformation, involving many actors, public and private, at different scales. Conservation and innovation should be 'appropriate' to the material and cultural characteristics of places, i.e. they transmit their sedimented values and enhance them as a 'common good'. The research involves all territorial scales and includes various components, including gardens and other `vegetal architecture', with a systems approach. In particular: collection of Italian and foreign best practices; elaboration of critical comparisons on methodological and operational issues.
