We are seeking a senior Post-Doctoral Researcher to work on the Marine Institute-funded project Future ISLA (Future projection of atmospheric and oceanic impacts on Sea Level at Arctic and near-Arctic coastlines). This project will focus on Ireland-Arctic teleconnections and advance the state of the art of (1) mid-latitude climate (atmospheric and oceanic) drivers of Arctic environmental change and (2) understand the environmental consequences, specifically the future coastal vulnerability, in the Arctic and periphery (including Ireland) resulting from global climate change. The Post-Doctoral Researcher will be expected to collaborate closely with international project partners and partners in the Horizon Europe funded ObsSea4Clim project.

Salary

Senior Postdoctoral Researcher (2023):      €50,540– €51,961 p.a. (2 points, with increment)

Postdoctoral Researcher (2023):                 €42,783– € 49,177 p.a. (6 points, with increment)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
