Position Summary

A part-time (50%) Research Assistant position is available in the school of Biological, Earth & Environmental Sciences (BEES) at University College Cork (UCC), Ireland. Duties include assistance with the cultivation of plants (terrestrial and aquatic), monitoring of plant traits, water quality assessment and other laboratory analyses.

Applicants are expected to have a BSc or MSc in Plant Science or a related subject, and have experience in the cultivation of plants and relevant research experience. The position will start in April 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter.

Project Title: Plant Science Research Support

Post Duration: 5 months

Salary:  €30,025 - €39,908 (IUA Salary Scales), pro rata 0.5 FTE
