Post Summary

The Paralegal will join the Research Contracts and will draft, review, and negotiate research contracts. This will add to the support the RC office provides to college in facilitating the engagement of external parties, particularly industry, with college by ensuring contracts are negotiated and administered in an efficient and professional manner. Effective review and negotiations will aim to minimize any exposure and/or liability to College and Principal Investigators and to also ensure internal College policies are adhered to and College / Schools / Principal Investigators are in a position to comply with same. The Paralegal will also assist the Head of Research Contracts and the I&I Team Lead/Project Manager in the implementation of key projects.

Post status: Permanent

Hours of Post: 35 hours per week

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 2 Salary Scale (€56,142 - €65,967 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
