Offer Description
Are you interested in developing CADD and AI virtual screening workflows to discover novel molecules with anti-cancer activity? Is there a CADD and/or AI approach and particular cancer that you want to develop expertise in? Do you want to dig deeper into the data underpinning CADD/AI models and ensure it can be used to predict a biological outcome?
Dr Darren Fayne is looking for exceptional, highly-motivated and ambitious researchers of any nationality interested in developing collaborative applications for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships call (https://marie-sklodowska-curie-actions.ec.europa.eu/actions/how-to-apply ?). The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships provide researchers from all over the world with the opportunity to acquire and transfer new knowledge and to work on research in a European context or outside Europe. Applications will be made jointly by the researcher and Dr Fayne with Dublin City University (DCU) as the host organisation.
If you want to develop a research proposal, please contact me ([email protected] ) with a research idea, CV and cover letter. I started an Assistant Professor in Computational Chemistry position in the School of Chemical Sciences, DCU in January 2024 (https://www.dcu.ie/chemistry/people/darren-fayne ). You will be joining the Molecular Design Group, an expanding team of one postdoctoral researcher, one PhD candidate and recent publications in methodology development and application (10.1021/acsomega.3c05207 10.1016/j.jmgm.2022.108228 10.1080/07391102.2020.1825232 Google Scholar link: https://shorturl.at/xzFTY ).
