Specific Purpose Whole-time Post

(anticipated duration 12 months)

UCC wishes to appoint an experienced administrator to the above role. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Risk Management, the Insurance and Claims Officer’s role is to ensure, in conjunction with the Corporate Secretary and Director of Enterprise Risk Management, or their nominee, that the responsibilities of the Office are fulfilled in this regard, thus safeguarding the University. The Insurance Officer will play a strategically important role in enabling the activities of the University in areas such as programme delivery, student placement, research (including patient focused research) and commercial activities.  

Note: This is a full time post, but applicants looking for a shorter working week may be considered.

Appointment may be made on the Admin V (Grade 5) Salary Scales: €47,685 - €58,560 (Scale B) / €45,493 - €55,738 (Scale A)      

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy
