Permanent Whole Time Post

UCC wishes to appoint a permanent whole time Clinical Skills Simulation Resource Centre (CSSRC) Manager, in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Reporting to the Head of School or nominee, the successful candidate will lead and manage the CSSRC, working closely with the existing CSSRC team, academic team, professional support staff and clinical partners. S/he will deliver strategic management, supporting the implementation of simulation-based learning, teaching and assessment and related activities across undergraduate and postgraduate nursing and midwifery programmes.

The CSSRC has significant simulation-based capabilities including low-fidelity task trainers, anatomical models, high-fidelity patient simulators, standardised participants and is developing virtual/immersive/online simulation approaches. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and play a core role in resource planning and the ongoing development of the CSSRC.

Appointment may be made on the HSE Assistant Director of Nursing (Band 1) Salary Scale: €66,454- €82,008 

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
