The Role
We are actively recruiting an Associate Professor / Senior Lecturer for a fixed term contract until April 1st 2025 who will provide academic leadership on the Sustainable Futures project. The successful candidate will work with the Sustainable Futures project group in Maynooth University on the design, development, delivery, and promotion of sustainability in enterprise postgraduate and executive modules (in areas such as, for example, enterprise sustainability, business economics for sustainability and, sustainable leadership).
The successful applicant will be expected to have an interest in supporting the career development of participants and an ability to work with a variety of stakeholders. As an Associate Professor they will be expected to make a solid contribution to the development of the project at the level of teaching, research and administration. They will be expected to work with the project lead (to whom they report) on developing research papers for joint submission and for developing funding bids related to the future development of the project.
The successful applicant will have a track record of teaching, research and publication which is appropriate to the career expectations of an Associate Professor / Senor Lecturer in the field of business and management studies. As such they will have a proven capability to teach at all levels (especially to postgraduates and/or executives) and to publish in leading international peer-reviewed journals and/or raising external funding.

Associate Professor / Senior Lecturer Salary Scale: €75,662 per annum (1 point)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
