UCC is seeking to appoint to the position of Apprenticeship Programme Manager and applications are now invited for same. Situated in the Academic Services unit of the Office of Deputy President and Registrar this position is linked to the launch of the new Apprenticeship in Social Work in UCC. The Programme Manager will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operation of the apprenticeship and will work with academic, industry, state, and funding partners.  The position of Apprenticeship Programme Manager provides an innovative opportunity to contribute to and manage the delivery of a new apprenticeship responding to identified skills needs in the Irish economy.  The Apprenticeship Programme Manager will have responsibility for leading the consortium in the delivery of work plans, ensuring timelines are met and outcomes achieved co-ordinating inputs from a range of stakeholders and be responsible for the preparation of apprenticeship reporting and will lead the promotion of the apprenticeship.   The successful candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and will foster and develop relationships with apprentices, employer organisations and the university community and will bring initiative, expertise, and strong programme management skills to the role to inform their understanding of Apprenticeship Programmes in Higher Education Institutions nationally and internationally. A motivated self-starter, the successful candidate will achieve high standards in their work and maintain the necessary professional expertise and skills to meet the overall demands of the role.

Appointment may be made on the Admin III (Grade 6) Salary Scale: €57,341 - €68,461 (Scale B) / €54,596 - €65,146 (Scale A)   

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
