The Human Resources Office (HRO) at Central European University invites applications for an HR Assistant position.

 

As an HR Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of support activities to the Human Resources Office. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and holds a master’s qualification.

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Crafting and posting engaging job advertisements online to attract top talent.
  • Assisting in initial applicant screening and actively sourcing candidates on platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Coordinating interview schedules and managing calendars for both interviewers and candidates.
  • Conducting HR interviews and serving as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Managing the candidate experience from application to offer stage, ensuring a smooth and positive recruitment process.
  • Assisting with other HR-related tasks and projects as assigned.

 

Your skills and experience:

 

  • A Master's degree in International Management, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
  • Interest in Talent Recruitment and HR processes 
  • Interest in Technology 
  • Experience in an educational setting and in higher education sector
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An agile and adaptable mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Fluent in English

We offer a competitive salary starting from gross 42 000 EUR/year. A higher salary is possible if warranted by the candidate’s working experience.
