Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Lecturer in the Journalism and Media Studies Centre (Ref.: 526258) (to commence on August 1, 2024 or thereafter, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Master's degree or equivalent in Journalism, Digital Media or related fields. Ideally, a minimum of 15 years teaching and professional experience as a video producer/director in the media/filming industry is required. Preference will be given to candidates international experience and major film festival award-winning recognition, with proven record in teaching and curriculum development at the tertiary or professional level.
The appointee will be responsible for teaching courses on Documentary Film Appreciation, Documentary Filmmaking Production, Introduction of AI Generative Media and Advanced AI Medial applications, as well as designing curriculum and developing new courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
