Department of Chemistry
Research Assistant Professor
(Ref: 240000J4) (Closing date: March 31, 2024)
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Science and Engineering, with a strong publication record and expertise in the fabrication and applications of chiral nanomaterials. The appointee is expected to work closely with Professor Zhifeng HUANG’s research group (https://huanggroupcuhk.org ).
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for three years, renewable subject to mutual agreement. Opportunities are available in Hong Kong for annual application of research funding on a competitive basis.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package, including medical care, plus a 15% contract-end gratuity for an appointment of two years or longer. Annual salary ranges from HK$685,680 to HK$962,160 (US$1 = HK$7.8). The terms mentioned herein are for reference only and are subject to revision by the University.
