Dean and Professor of School of Business

The School of Business is devoted to fostering the development of students into competent professionals and business leaders who are equipped to navigate the dynamic business landscape. The School’s mission is to establish a renowned business school in the region, recognised for our excellence in teaching and learning, research, and service. The School was awarded the AACSB accreditation in May 2023. Currently, it has approximately 3,500 undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in ten undergraduate programmes and two postgraduate programmes.

Reporting to the Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research), the Dean of School is a senior member of the University management team committed and responsible to ensure the advancement of the University strategic plans. The appointee should be a visionary leader and distinguished scholar who will provide effective academic leadership covering student admission, programme development and accreditations, teaching and learning, advance the School’s research aiming impactful contributions to the profession and the community, and foster strong collaborations with industry and other institutions. 

The Deanship appointment will be for an initial term of 3 years, renewable for 3 or 4 years afterwards. The appointee will hold a concurrent academic appointment in the School.
