Offer Description
We are seeking a motivated immunologist and a computational biologist to join a highly interactive research team that operates across immunology, molecular biology, systems biology and animal modeling. The ideal candidates should either possess a PhD or MSc degree in immunology or computational biology, and/or should have at least one first author publication in relevant fields (preprints are also acceptable). Experience in animal models, NGS laboratory and computational techniques, gene editing, and/or advanced imaging would be highly valued. Our lab works towards conceptualizing the antigen presenting cell landscape in solid tumours. Maria Tsoumakidou recently received 2 million euro to implement her project artFibro, titled “Artifying fibroblasts: Perturbation modelling in the lung tumor phase space to rewire fibroblasts for immunotherapy” (2023-2028).
