Offer Description

The American College of Greece Research Center (ACG-RC) is seeking a Doctoral Candidate (DC) to join the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network on “Integrated Sensing and communications for future vehicuLAr systems a Network of Doctoral Students,” known as ISLANDS . The chosen researcher will work on the topic of Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) techniques for vehicular systems that take advantage of shared spectrum access. The DC will be hosted on the premises of ACG-RC in Athens, Greece, taking advantage of the excellent facilities of the Smart Wireless Future Technologies Research Lab . In parallel, the chosen DC will enroll as a PhD student at the University of Cyprus. During the 3 years of the position’s term, the DC is also expected to perform two research visits (secondments), of 3 months each, at Orange in Paris, France, and OTE in Athens, Greece. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in joint radar-communication technology, specifically targeting connected and automated mobility (CAM) services.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.
  • Highly proficient in English language skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
