We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied working student occupation in the area of AI-Driven Automated Testing.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to explore the potential of Artificial Intelligence in the field of automated software testing for ECU software. You will work closely with our development team to research, experiment, and develop innovative approaches to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes using AI.

What awaits you?

• Collaborate with the development team to understand the software requirements and identify areas where AI can be applied to automate testing processes.
• Research and experiment with various AI techniques, such as machine learning, natural language processing, large language models, to develop intelligent testing solutions.
• Design and develop AI models and algorithms to improve project requirements.
• Design and develop AI models and algorithms to automate test case generation, test execution, and defect detection.
• Evaluate and compare different AI-based testing approaches and provide recommendations on their feasibility and effectiveness.
• Document and present your findings, methodologies, and results to the team.

What should you bring along?

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest & knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI technology and its applications.
• Experience with AI technologies, such as machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) or natural language processing libraries (e.g., NLTK, SpaCy), and large language models.
• Familiarity with automated software testing concepts and tools.
• A brief knowledge of requirements engineering concepts.
• Programming skills in Python.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Business-fluent English. German proficiency is a plus.
