The Max Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology is a world-renowned research institute of the German Max Planck Society with a focus on biomedical basic research.

The Laboratory of Decoding Post-Translational Modification Signalling Networks headed by Dr. Katarzyna Kliza offers a position for Student Research Assistant (m/f/d).

Deadline for applications: June 30th , 2024. Job starting date: July 1st , 2024 or as soon as possible.


Your Tasks
  • Support research activities of the group members.
  • General laboratory assistance.
  • Preparation of reagents and maintenance of stocks.

Your Qualifications
  • Current enrollment in a BSc/MSc program at a German university, and not yet completed the program.
  • Ability to work independently and meticulously.
  • The working language of the laboratory is English. Fluency in either German or English is required; at least good command of English is expected.
  • Quick comprehension skills.

Remuneration

The remuneration depends on your level of study (according to the guidelines of the "Tarifgemeinschaft deutscher Länder (TdL) über die Arbeitsbedingungen der wissenschaftlichen und studentischen Hilfskräfte" from June 23, 2008, in the currently applicable version). The hourly rate for student research assistants is currently either €12.41 (in a Bachelor’s program) or €13.03 (in a Master’s program).
