Student Assistant optical signal processing for 6G Technology

Updated: 10 days ago
Location: Berlin, BERLIN

Future. Discover. Together.

As a leading research institution based in Berlin, the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute delivers innovations for the digital society of the future and has become a world leader in the field of optical data transmission. Building on many years of experience, its outstanding expertise in the field of optical and wireless communication also enables the development of solutions in closely related fields. Recently, we developed an optical signal processor based on neuromorphic reserviorand aimed at studying various scenarios promising for 6G-related technologies. As next steps, we are going to apply the optimal neuromorphic structure to experimentally demonstrate an optical non-linear equalizer. This dynamic field of research opens up exciting research projects with clear application relevance related to 6G. We offer an interesting scientific environment and insight into industry-related research. Be a part of our team and come on a journey of research and innovation!
