At the University of Greifswald’s Institute of Psychology, Chair of Health and Prevention, in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, there is a job vacancy, expected to be available from next possible appointment until 31 May 2026, subject to the allocation of funds, for a full-time
Research Position.
The position is suitable for part-time employment. There is the possibility of an extension of contract. Payment will be made according to pay group 13 TV-L Wissenschaft.
Job Description:
- Contribution towards activities associated with initialising and establishing the German Center for Child and Adolescent Health (DZKJ)
- Providing scientific services in research performed by the chair
- Contribution of methodical knowledge to various projects
Job Requirements:
- Successful completion of an advanced university degree (Diplom or master's) in psychology, social sciences or health sciences with above-average grades
- In-depth skills in research or statistical methods, i.e. intensive longitudinal data or surveys close to everyday life (e.g. through outpatient assessment)
- Proven skills and experiences in planning, conducting and analysing Ecological Momentary Assessment or Experience Sampling Method studies (EMA, ESM)
- Experience in psychometric measurement in health and social sciences
- Strong interest in scientific development, especially with regard to methodological knowledge and research networking, preferably in children and adolescents
Desirable:
- Good knowledge of psychometric concepts, preferably in the context of health and social sciences
- Participation in projects on health sciences and health services research with children and adolescents
- Collaboration in the submission of own project proposals, ideally acquisition of own third-party funding and assumption of management tasks
- International research experience
- Interest in Open Science in research (e.g. preregistration)
