For a research project on the harmonics of motets in the 13th century, the Institute of Musicology is looking for a research assistant (75%) for the duration of 3 years.
YOUR TASKS
- You will develop the tools required the corpus analysis of music.
- You will cooperate with staff members specializing in music theory/music history.
- You will work with existing analysis tools and file formats (MusicXML, MEI).
- You publish the research results as part of a team, often in a leading role.
YOUR PROFILE
- You have a university degree in Digital Humanities or in musicology / music theory with a significant proportion of computational musicology.
- If you have not already studied musicology, you should have an affinity for music and be familiar with musical notation.
- You have a scientific interest in the computer-aided processing of historical / cultural data
