The research focus of the department is to improve global food security, resource conservation, environmental protection, animal welfare and the health of humans and animals by improving the nutrient supply of farm animals. The department's target animal species are primarily poultry and pigs.

Your tasks

• Cross-study evaluations of the protein supply of non-ruminants (poultry, pigs) in terms of the utilization of feed protein to protein in animal foods in meta-analyses and similar procedures
• Data evaluation and interpretation of results
• Publication and presentation of research results (national and international)
• Participation in events of the Graduate Academy to achieve the doctorate

Your profile

• Above-average Master's degree (or soon to be obtained) preferably in the field of agricultural sciences, related subjects or other data analysis-oriented subjects
• Interest in the evaluation of the protein supply of poultry and pigs
• Interest in the evaluation of data
• Willingness to work scientifically with animals
• Willingness to work in a team with mutual support, strong communication skills and flexibility
• Willingness to do a doctorate
