Job description:Postdoctoral Researcher/Scientist (f/m/d) for CP2K development

The Center for Advanced Systems Understanding (CASUS) is a German-Polish research center for data-intensive digital systems research.

The Department of Department Department of Professional Support is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher/Scientist (f/m/d) for CP2K development. 


Your tasks

# Implementing CP2K development projects
# CP2K/SIRIUS interface development and user support
# Publishing results in academic and peer-reviewed journals
# Presenting results at scientific meetings
# Providing professional support for other members of the institute


Your profile

# Completed university studies (PhD) in the field of Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry or a related field
# Excellent programming skills in modern Fortran (standard F90 or later, preferred) or another higher programming language (C/C++/Python)
# Good knowledge of electronic structure methods for periodic systems, preferably FLAPW
# Experience with parallel computing paradigms (OpenMP, MPI)
# Experience in one of the following topics is a plus: tools and build systems, sparse matrix libraries, GPU programming (CUDA/HIP), implementation of k-point methods
# Experience with Linux, Git, and related tools and with high-performance computing
# Strong motivation to work in a collaborative environment
# Excellent communication skills in English and in a professional context
