The Department of Biomolecular Systems (Director Prof. Dr. Peter H. Seeberger) at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Potsdam, Germany invites applications from outstanding young scientists for the position of
Postdoc in Automation and Software Development (m/f/d)
We are looking for a highly motivated Postdoc in the field of Process Automation and Software Development. The candidate should have a degree in computer science, informatics, chemistry, chemical engineering, or closely related fields, with an outstanding profile, a strong background and interests in:
- Automated platforms for chemical synthesis.
- Adequate programming skills (Python and LabView) are essential.
- Hardware interface and software implementation are needed.
- Previous experience in automation of lab processes is beneficial.
- Knowledge of process control is an asset.
The position will handle the further development and improvement of a software to program an automated chemical synthesis platform.
The position is available starting from March 2024.
