About therole

We areactively searching for an Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML)Scientist/Engineer to join our Design for Test (DFT) team in Germany.

As an AI/MLExpert, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation ofbreakthrough DFT products that employ AI/ML methods.

The Tessentorganization is the DFT market and technology leader known to introduce manyindustry-first, trendsetting, breakthrough products, such as TestKompress andStreaming Scan Network, widely used by the semiconductor industry.

There willbe ample opportunity to develop innovative solutions and make significantimpact on the state-of-the-art.

Responsibilitiesand skills

Your responsibilities will involve designing machine learning models specific to DFT, and Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM).

  • Interact with Tessent R&Dteams working in several product lines, DFT, SLM, Diagnosis.
  • Design machine learningsystems and models for DFT and SLM.
  • Research and implementappropriate AI/ML approaches, algorithms, and tools.
  • Run machine learning tests andexperiments on extensive databases of designs.
  • Keep abreast of developmentsin the field of AI/ML, DFT, and SLM.

Requirements

To thrive in this position, you must possess exceptional knowledge and skills in AI, ML, statistics, programming, as well as some understanding of DFT, SLM, and a strong commitment to learn new things.

  • Deep knowledge of AI, ML,math, probability, statistics, and algorithms.
  • Strong software developmentskills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team withexperts from other domains.
  • Outstanding analytical andproblem-solving skills.
  • PhD degree in Computer Scienceor Electrical Engineering.
