Your mission:

  • planning, deployment and operation of distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) networks in different test environments at land and underwater
  • processing and analysis of acquired data, development of routines to extract the information from fiber optic sensor networks based on signal processing methods
  • planning, execution, and analysis of measurement campaigns and field tests to investigate the measurement method’s potential to increase the security status of critical maritime infrastructures
  • integration into the institute’s situational awareness system
  • publication of your research results in scientific journals and at conferences
