Offer Description

As part of the "Biotherapies/Bioproduction Integrators Network" program, Inserm is recruiting two project managers with complementary expertise to coordinate and monitor the program. The Project Managers will report to the Deputy Director of the ITS, and will interface with the ITS steering team and the department in charge of strategic programs.

The Integrators Network is a 5-million-euro program over 5 years, to coordinate, lead and assist the 8 integrators in the field of biotherapies and biomanufacturing, which have been labeled under the auspices of the national Strategy of Acceleration in Biotherapies and Bioproduction of innovative therapies" (SABB).  Final aim is to enable the fulfillment of their missions as technological platforms on behalf of academic or industrial partners, and facilitate the industrialization of their technologies/products.

Under the supervision of the Integrators' Network coordinators, your tasks will include:

 - Assist the steering bodies of the Integrators Network and the integrators in their various assignments

 - Report on the progress of the Integrators Network (drafting memos and activity reports, organizing meetings, etc.) in liaison with the ANR and integrator teams

 - Contribute to strategic discussions concerning future orientations and development of the Integrator Network

- Implement actions to coordinate and animate the Integrator Network for continuing education, and communicate/promote Integrator technologies and products

- Implement communication actions and tools, in liaison with the Network Managers, the Integrators' Scientific Managers and the various SABB players (PEPR, France Biolead, COMBIO), in order to raise the integrators' profile among professionals in the field and also to disseminate information to the general public;

- Respond to the requests from partner institutions and organizations, supervisory bodies and the various stakeholders in the Integrator Network (integrators, researchers, industrialists, the general public, etc.). )

Higher education diploma in fields pertinent to the profile (Life science, Medicine or other scientific branch … ) with a minimum of 5 years training after High school diploma

Specific Requirements

You have a master’s degree or equivalent higher education level, and sufficient experience to demonstrate:

• strong project engineering and management skills,
• practice of reporting in writing for governmental or European funded programs (reports, summary notes, minutes))
• a significant knowledge of communication/promotion tools and event organization OR a solid knowledge of the biotherapeutics/biomanufacturing industry (regulations, business development, quality control ...)
• a significant knowledge of the organization of academic research in France and Europe
• a solid culture of biology-health research topics related to biotherapies and biomanufacturing allowing you to understand the objectives and approaches defined by the research project coordinators and partners.
• proficiency in standard office software
• fluency in written and spoken English

The position requires an efficient handling of Internal and external relations

Internally you will

- Work in close collaboration with the network coordinators and in operational pair to set up the network.

- Teamwork both within the department and with members of the network of integrators and SABB players.

External relations include several categories of actors such as service providers and consultants but also stakeholders in the SABB network of integrators and players.

This position involves functional relations with Inserm's thematic institutes and support departments (finance, legal, HR, IS, communication), Inserm Transfert, the various SABB players (PEPR, France Biolead, COMBIO), members of the 8 integrators, ANR, and external partners (Universities, research organizations, etc.).
