Offer Description

The candidate will be joining our “Genomics and signaling of endocrine tumors” team led by Prof. Bertherat. Our lab at the interface between basic and clinical science benefits from the state-of-theart equipment and facilities available at Institut Cochin and is well known for its important contributions in the better understanding of adrenocortical physiopathology.

The successful candidate will be contributed to an ANR-funded project, Ad-SIAH1, focusing on the importance of an E3 ubiquitin ligase, SIAH1 on the tumorigenesis, function and differentiation of the adrenal cortex through the characterization of adrenocortical specific knockout mice.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated post-doctoral scientist with a strong background and experience on the phenotyping of mouse models, endocrinology and cellular or molecular biology.

The successful candidate will benefit from technical assistance and play a pivotal and active role in the project management, conducing in vivo and in vitro experiments.
His/her responsibilities will also include presenting results at lab meetings, national and international conferences.

Skills/Qualifications
  • Accreditation for animal experimentation (Level 1 or Level 2) and experience on murine phenotyping will be highly appreciated, but is not mandatory
  • Experience in immunostaining, molecular biology (qPCR, western blot, cloning, immunoprecipitation…)
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Strong team spirit
  • Excellent organization skills
