Post doc Research project :
Investigation of the immune response to infection, inflammation, and immunotherapies using complex in vivo and ex vivo models. The candidate will be directly supervised by team leader Molly INGERSOLL.
Main activities :
- Define biological techniques required for the experimental realization of a scientific project.
- Conceive and develop a bladder immunology project and manage its implementation
- Advise on technical aspects; evaluate and validate choices
- Process data (analyze, interpret and validate results)
- Disseminate and promote results and technological achievements
- Provide in-house and external training in the principles and implementation of immunology experimentation techniques; supervise lab members
- Maintain a scientific and technological knowledge of the literature
- Apply and enforce health and safety rules in the field
- Participate in the drafting of funding applications
Job specification(s) and environment :
- The "Mucosal Inflammation and Immunity" group focuses on bladder mucosal immunity. We seek to understand how innate and adaptive immune responses arise in response to infection, cancer and immunotherapies. We are part of the Immunology and Microbiology Axes of the Institut Cochin.

- Understanding of mucosal tissue-specific immunity
- Experience with Prism flow cytometry software
- Health and safety regulations

- English language: C1 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
Know-how :
- Flow cytometry
