School: Grenoble INP – IAE, UGA School website: www.grenoble-iae.fr Contact: [email protected] School presentation: The job is at Grenoble IAE – INP, UGA, one of the eight schools of Grenoble INP Institute of Engineering and Management within the new Université Grenoble Alpes. As a member of IAE France network, Grenoble IAE is a public school of management that gathers around 1,400 students (general and professional bachelors, master degrees, MBA, DBA). The mission of Grenoble IAE is to reveal and connect talents for a responsible and innovative management in local and global organizations. Our graduates are experts, collaborative, innovative and open to international dimension. Thus, the training combines international experience, entrepreneurial capabilities and job specialization, through more than 20 tracks of masters. The teaching faculty includes almost 75 core faculties, mainly researchers in management science, and 400 adjunct faculties. The school supports a Chair in finance: management and performance of SMEs. Teaching Profile: The job requires 192hTD of teaching per year, mainly in Grenoble campus and sometimes in Valence campus. The new colleague will join the ACCOFI teaching department, for lectures in finance, management control, accounting, auditing. Some of them will be part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or quantitative techniques. The language of teaching will be French and English. Teaching hours will concern Bachelor and Master-degree programs, especially in Accounting and Control curriculums, with various pedagogical forms: lectures, case studies, student projects, etc. The colleague will also be involved in internships, coaching, juries, and various events. It is required: - To teach in French and in English, in full-time and part-time classes. - To be committed in program coordination (especially in Finance) and in major projects of Grenoble IAE (entrepreneurship orientation, ethics and social responsibility, international accreditation EFMD and AACSB). - To contribute to the dynamics of the school in finance and accounting. The colleague will progressively take in charge some responsibilities in Bachelor or Master Degree. Beyond, it will involve full participation in life of the school (selection of students, follow-up of internships, follow-up of apprentices, defense, etc.) and, as mentioned above, in all the strategic projects of Grenoble IAE.

Host laboratory: CERAG, EA 7521 Laboratory website: https://www.cerag.org/ Contact: [email protected] Laboratory presentation: CERAG (Centre for Applied Studies and Research in Management) is the research unit of the university dedicated to management sciences and is linked to the social sciences research cluster (PSS). Its 97 members mostly work in five different departments (Grenoble IAE, Grenoble INP, IUT of Grenoble and Valence, Faculty of Economics), and on two campuses (Grenoble and Valence). 63 PhD students are registered at the doctoral school in management sciences (EDSG). The laboratory is structured around three research areas, in line with its ecosystem and the IDEX project: Anticipation and Risk Management; Responsible Behaviour and Social Issues; and Innovation and Organizational Complexity. These areas address the crucial management challenges encountered by modern society: risk and resilience, fostering adaptation and socially responsible behaviour, innovation and complex transitions.
Research Profile: The selected candidate, an expert in finance, management control or accounting, must be able to integrate into CERAG's priority thematic areas: Risk anticipation and management; Responsible Behavior and Social Issues; or Innovation and organizational complexity. The work related to these thematic areas can be varied: Financial and accounting innovations to improve communication with shareholders and reduce uncertainties and information asymmetries (with a particular focus on complex systems and processes); analysis of the quality of financial and accounting information; innovative financial instruments; dynamics of financial markets; valuation of information of a social or environmental nature; analysis of financial and extra-financial statements published by companies (especially in relation to CSR); performance and value creation measures in finance and accounting; risk measures, especially major risks; international accounting standardization and its impact on the behavior of financial analysts; cost-benefit approach to inform legislators/standardizers by evaluating the consequences of certain regulations. Expertise in quantitative research techniques (advanced statistics, econometrics, big data) is expected. The selected candidate will actively participate in the development of CERAG's themes and will develop and manage research projects at local, national and international level. Interdisciplinary approaches in articulation with other human and social sciences, health or engineering are welcome. Research relationships with foreign teams will also be considered as a significant contribution to the Laboratory. The research must lead to a valorization activity, in particular through peer-reviewed publications in French and English. All publications must be signed, from the date of taking up the position, in accordance with the charter in force for the single signature of publications of the University of Grenoble Alpes. The recruited person must also participate in the life of the laboratory, including research workshops, as well as its strategic projects. The research activity presented in the application must be proven, in particular by international publications.
