Offer Description
The integration density of electronic systems for communication, localization and surveillance equipment is increasing rapidly. To meet a wide range of communication standards, it is crucial to design antennas that are both compact and versatile. Moreover, in many military and space applications, circular polarization is required, which can also be advantageous in the civil field to compensate for misalignment between transmitter and receiver, as well as to reduce polarization losses due to multipath. More specifically, the overall project aims to demonstrate an array of four miniature, tri-band (GPS/Galileo) circularly polarized radiating elements, suitable for satellite radionavigation systems, by developing and using self-biased ferrite materials. As part of the post-doctoral work, the main objective will be to demonstrate an antenna system using a self-biased ferrite. In addition, the candidate will be able to study the co-integration of a circulation function within the antennae device. |
