Offer Description

Duties and responsibilities

  • Conducting independent research at the international level in the field of anatomy.
  • Publishing in reputable scientific venues.
  • Applying and leading R&D projects.
  • Active engagement in Department of Anatomy research, contributing to ongoing projects and collaborating with other UT research entities.
  • Lecturing and conducting seminars in Human Anatomy at all levels of higher education in Estonian and English.
  • Organizing teaching work and ensuring their successful execution.
  • Supervising MSc and PhD students.
  • Participation in the work of academic and administrative decision-making bodies.
  • Participating in the promotion and implementation of the specialisation at the national and international levels.
  • Participation in the work of the international community of the specialisation.
  • Performing at least one managerial task at the university is recommended.

Required qualifications
PhD or an equivalent qualification

Required experience

  • Teaching experience at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels is required, including successful supervision of Master’s students.
  • Experience in supervising students. Research experience and publications in the area of specialization, the volume of which is equivalent to at least two doctoral theses.
  • Previous expierence of participation in the work of academic and administrative decision-making bodies.
  • Experience in activities related to the administration and development of teaching in the anatomy.

Required language skills
Excellent command of Estonian and English.
