The Centre for Sustainability at CBS is looking for a Student Assistant to join us in September or sooner.

The Centre for Sustainability at The Department of Management, Society and Communication (MSC) at CBS is a multi-disciplinary research centre devoted to the study of sustainable practices and developments in organizations, markets and society at large. The Centre feeds research-based teaching into various BSc and MSc programmes and provides expertise to policy makers, business, industry associations and civil society groups.

As a student assistant, you will assist the two Academic Directors of the Centre in running the Centre activities, but it is possible to take on extra tasks to gain an insight into different areas of the department and even across CBS.

The tasks will differ but will include:

  • Updating website & blog, maintaining our social media channels and other communication tasks
  • Planning smaller events and conferences
  • Research assistance
  • General administrative support and tasks such as planning events and applying for grants

  • Fluency in English
  • At least beginner level of Danish

Candidates who have at least one year left of their education are preferred.

Salary and terms of employment

Employment will take place in accordance with the HK organizational agreement and the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and Publicly Employed Organizations (OAO-S Collective Agreement).

The salary amounts to between DKK 132.68 and DKK 139.19 depending on previous employment with office employment experience and level of education. Pension is paid if there has been 9 months of prior employment in the public sector and you are over 20 years old, or have previously been covered by a pension scheme as part of a previous employment. The pension contribution amounts to 11.19% of the pensionable salary components.

It is a requirement that you are an active student at a higher education institution to be employed.

Working hours: 10-15 hours per week

Expected Start: September 2024 (or sooner)
