  • Use Design of Experiments (DOE) tools focusing on the pectin process and looking into all relevant parameters impacting the pectin separation process and functionality.
  • Analyze samples for color, oxidation, homogeneity, gel formation, pH, taste etc.
  • Compose project reports and drafting manuscripts for publication in peer reviewed scientific journals and conferences.
  • Supervise BEng/BSc/MSc students and train them in sample preparation, protocols and use of equipment.
  • Communicate results of the project to both academic and industrial partners.

We are looking for an experienced postdoctoral researcher with hands-on laboratory experience in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Food technology.
As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).
