A Post-doctoral position in condensed matter theory

The Niels Bohr International Academy at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen invites applications for a postdoc position within condensed matter theory. We seek a post-doc with expertise in the field of generalized categorical symmetries and other exotic symmetries such as subsystem and dipole symmetries. In particular, in the applications of these symmetries to quantum lattice models.

The position is open from 15 September 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter and has a duration of 2 years.

Terms of employment

The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff. 

Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State. 

Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
