The dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, Brno University of Technology is opening a position of
Academic/Research assistant – DOCENT / PROFESSOR,
in the field of Analytical Chemistry, full time job (40 hrs. /week), affiliated at the Institute of Chemistry and Technology of Environmentalprotection.
Job description:
- Scientific, pedagogical and popularization activities in the field of Analytical Chemistry
- Conducting basic and applied research in this field and publishing articles
- Leading a scientific group focused mainly on separation methods, mass spectrometry and advanced sample processing procedures for analysis, and on cooperation with other scientific groups
- Training of students in bachelor's, master's and doctoral study programs
- Obtaining grant funds, the research activities
- Operational and managerial activities at the institute corresponding to the position of a docent/professor
Requirements:
- Docent or Professor in the field of of Analytical Chemistry, in accordance with Czech legislation, or its recognition based on bilateral agreements
- Ability to lead own scientific group within the workplace
- Ability to work independently at scientific work, active publication activity
- Fluent in Czech with excellent communication and written skills in English
- Criminal and moral integrity

- Overview of the most significant research activities, publication activities over the past 5 years, of implemented within projects and/or grants
