The dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, Brno University of Technology is opening a position of

Academic/Research assistant – DOCENT / PROFESSOR,

in the field of Analytical Chemistry, full time job (40 hrs. /week), affiliated at the Institute of Chemistry and Technology of Environmentalprotection.

Job description:

• Scientific, pedagogical and popularization activities in the field of Analytical Chemistry
• Conducting basic and applied research in this field and publishing articles
• Leading a scientific group focused mainly on separation methods, mass spectrometry and advanced sample processing procedures for analysis, and on cooperation with other scientific groups
• Training of students in bachelor's, master's and doctoral study programs
• Obtaining grant funds, the research activities
• Operational and managerial activities at the institute corresponding to the position of a docent/professor

Requirements:

• Docent or Professor in the field of of Analytical Chemistry, in accordance with Czech legislation, or its recognition based on bilateral agreements
• Ability to lead own scientific group within the workplace
• Ability to work independently at scientific work, active publication activity
• Fluent in Czech with excellent communication and written skills in English
• Criminal and moral integrity
