Institute for Tourism in Zagreb is announcing the following

V A C A N C Y

for a scientific employment position– research associate in interdisciplinary studies, field of geography - 1 employee

The employment relationship is based on an indefinite period of full-time work with a 6-month probationary period with the obligation to carry out re-election or election to a higher position every 5 years.

Along with the written application for the competition, applicant must meet the conditions prescribed by The Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity and attach:

• CV (Curriculum Vitae),
• proof of the acquired academic degree of PhD,
• proof of meeting the conditions in accordance with Rulebook on the conditions for selection into scientific professions

Employment preference will be given to applicants with experience working in GIS software (e.g. ArcGis, QGIS), remote sensing software (e.g. ESA Snap eCOGNITION) and knowledge of working with spatial data bases (e.g. Copernicius, DGU data, Lansat).
