Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the trades supervisor, prides a high standard or good workmanship for the continuous (preventive) maintenance of general repairs of all furniture, equipment and general upkeeping of buildings under the control of McGill Residences.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Dealing with public in a service area. High school leaving certificate. Experience and practical knowledge of the techniques used in several trades relating to the sector of general maintenance. Knowledge of a certain number of mechanical or electrical tools. McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.

Additional Information:

Summer 2024 Student Employment

Period of May 5 to August 31, 2024.

Work Schedule Monday to Friday 8h00 - 16h15 (hour and days may vary due to summer business needs).
