Course Code and Title: MATA34H3 Calculus for Management 

Course Description: This is a calculus course designed primarily for students in management. The main concepts of calculus of one and several variables are studied with interpretations and applications to business and economics. Systems of linear equations and matrices are covered with applications in business.

Lecture Section: LEC01: TUE 1-2pm/THU 1-3pm.

Number of Positions (est.): One

Qualifications: Previous teaching experience as the instructor of a Mathematics course at the university level (required). Previous teaching experience as the instructor for MATA34H3 or equivalent (strongly desirable).

Duties: All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams; calculation and submission of grades; submission of a deferred exam; holding regular office hours; supervising TAs assigned to course.

Estimated TA Support (Hours): 55 hours per tutorial.

Sessional dates of appointment:  May 6 - August 31, 2024

Sessional Lecturer I Long Term $9,930.79
Sessional Lecturer II $10,121.77
Sessional Lecturer II Long Term $10,326.62
Sessional Lecturer III $10,362.76
Sessional Lecturer III Long Term $10,570.01.
