COURSE CODE AND TITLE:  HISB14H3S - Edible History: History of Global Foodways 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Strong academic record and professional promise; ongoing research and publication. Must be able to demonstrate pedagogical skills and approaches. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  PhD in History with research and teaching experience in Food History and food related experiential learning pedagogies. 

RELEVANT CRITERION:  Previous experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience in respect of this posted position. 

DUTIES:  All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams; calculation and timely submission of grades; timely submission of a deferred exam; holding regular office hours; supervising TA's assigned to the course, if applicable. 

TA SUPPORT:  Teaching Assistant support will be provided if the enrolment reaches 45 students or higher.
