Position Summary:
The candidate will be performing research in machine learning and data mining jointly with stochastic approaches to update short-term production scheduling in real world mining complexes.

Responsibilities are:

- integrating incoming sensor data and other operational information in computationally efficient approaches (including nature-inspired computing).

- educating and training other research assistants and graduate students in the above research areas and developments.

- write research reports.

-perform other administrative activities that are related to this project.
Qualifications:
PhD in Computer Engineering or Science

Expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Exposure to Data Mining

Teaching and training in above requirements

Must have at least five (5) years of research experience
