Department of Chemistry (Professor Nathan Luedtke)

Position Summary:

• Optimization of the synthesis of modified DNA and RNA molecules using solid-phase supported phosphoramidite chemistry.
• Modification of DNA and RNA molecules using highly selective chemical eactions  
• Purification of oligonucleotides using chromatography.
• Analysis of modified oligonucleotides using chromatography and mass spectrometry

Qualifications:

• The candidate must be trained in bioanalytical chemistry, organic chemistry, spectroscopy, molecular biology, and nucleic acids chemistry.

Experience and education:​​

• The candidate must have a BSc in chemistry or biochemistry and 6 months or more of relevant research experience.
