Department of Psychology (Professor Rosemary Bagot)
Position Summary:
- Conduct Probabilistic Reversal Learning, social defeat stress, open field and social interaction tests on mice
- Collect data from behavioral experiments (Med-PC and Ethovision data)
- Perform data analysis from data collected
- Slice brains from experimental animals and prepare slices for microscopy
- Interprets research data and then reports all results to the principal investigator and discuss findings.
- Plan follow up experiments or additional data analysis.
- Implements discussed changes or improvements to existing methods if and as needed.
Qualifications:
- Animal handling and behavior, histology techniques, data analysis.
Experience and education:
- Lab work experience (minimum 2 semesters) in the field of neuroscience.
- Completed undergrad degree
