Department of Geography (Professor Mylene Riva)
Position Summary:
- Assist with data collection on energy poverty in NS and Quebec using survey questionnaires and semi-structured interviews;
- Assist with qualitative and quantitative data analysis;
- Assist with writing research reports and scientific articles
Qualifications:
- Must speak, read and write in both English and French
- Must have excellent writing skills
Experience and education:
- Must have prior experience working with qualitative and quantitative analysis software (ex: NVivo, Stata, R)
- Prior research experience
“Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # 4 on a scale of 0-4.”
