Department of Geography (Professor Mylene Riva)

Position Summary:

  • Assist with data collection on energy poverty in NS and Quebec using survey questionnaires and semi-structured interviews;
  • Assist with qualitative and quantitative data analysis;
  • Assist with writing research reports and scientific articles

Qualifications:

  • Must speak, read and write in both English and French
  • Must have excellent writing skills

   

Experience and education:

  •  Must have prior experience working with qualitative and quantitative  analysis software (ex: NVivo, Stata, R)
  • Prior research experience

“Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # 4 on a scale of 0-4.”
